Wayyyyy overdue update

Fashion fans don't give up on me yet!
Today's theme - Juicy girl

I *love* Juicy Couture. One of my fave brands. I found a load of things (one new with tags!) in a thrift store, but I will write about that next time. Ladies, seriously, join the Sephora rewards program, all you do is next time you go to Sephora, ask to join. They'll give you a card, and you use it every time you purchase something, and they give you points towards free stuff. Not only that, but they send you special offers! (there is a connection to Juicy, I promise).

Sooo this month, they sent me an e-gift card for $15, either use it or lose it, so I browsed the Sephora site, and lo and behold, Juicy has a line just for them! With my discount, this is what I got:

There is actually a cuter shot of it here: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P224302&categoryId=C19771
It's closed, and you can see it says Juicy on it. It's so cute! I will be back with more this week! Keep checking in!

If you paid attention to the beginning of my blog..

you would know that my blog will not be limited to fashion alone, but all my loves. One of those is My Little Pony! I just won this little girl, Happy Tails Squeezer, complete. *squee*

I have so many ponies and accessories at home that are mixed up after I moved.. uggggg the worst part is ID'ing everything.
Oh well, another semester, when I'm not busy as hell!

I'm hooked---

on headbands! For the past month, I've been wearing them nearly every day. So much, in fact, that it was one of the gifts my man was considering buying me for my birthday Thursday (ladies, if a MAN notices something like that, you are addicted, lol). Here is my latest headband purchase:

Unfortunately, the color I purchased isn't there. I got a bright turquiose-blue one. They are leather, so that mixed with the chain is perfect for fall.

Fall's in stone!

A little birdie informed me that Malachite is fall's new it stone. Of course, I had to search out a piece for my wardrobe, and this is what I found:

Bought it for myself on ebay, only $6.49!! It is heavy and gorgeous, totally worth the price. I'd recommend this stone for fall!

Back after my hiatus!

Today is a combo of two of my personal loves, MLP and, of course, clothes. No fashion wardrobe is complete without a vintage graphic tee, and I recommend these! (thanks to 80stees.com)
I have this one:

The color is really pretty, and I always get compliments! Also good for the "OC" fans, so I've heard.

I thought this one was cool, as it has the original 6 on it:

And this one from Truffleshuffle.com

I don't have a G2 shirt yet!

Thanks again for looking!

"Dive in" and other fashion faux pas

Today's blog is not about the loves of this fashionista, but the quite the opposite.

Heres some fashion news for the senses.. can you believe Disney made these underwear.. and for CHILDREN no less? I know these are not for us adults, but this definitely deserved mentioning. Thanks to salon for this picture:

Now, this one isn't nearly so bad. "Glamstraps", as the company is called, is supposed to be the next in thing, suddenly showing your blinged-out bra straps instead of hiding them. Seems familiar... Wait- wasn't that the fashion statment of 2004?

I hear from websterismybitch.com and msn that "pegged" jeans may come back, and that several celebrities, including Katie Holmes, pictured from their site, are already victims. Please, readers, don't let this happen to you.

No words. Simply no words.

Forgot this one!

Attention all freebie lovers! Passed by the Clinique counter at Bloomies on 59th and saw that they are having a promotion! Free 8-piece gift set with any $25 or more purchase. I also saw it in Friday's issue of AM NY, but it featured a different bag, multiculor instead of silver, and had an additional bonus: a $25 Via Spiga gift card good towards any full price pair of Via Spiga shoes or boots from the fall 2008 collection (though there was a note- call the 59th street counter at 212-705-2879 or SoHo at 212-729-5139 for details). Hey, that's a pretty decent free gift! Hurry and get it!

Here's a pic of the set with the silver makeup bag from Bloomingdales.com:

Back after the long weekend!

Now that school is back in full swing, let me recommend some fall must-haves.

First, a pair of equestrian inspired boots.

Not cheap I know, but these Etienne Aigner Venizia boots are AMAZING. They are extremely comfy, have a great fit, and are really stylish, one of the top listers of fall must-haves. They come in a variety of colors, and I got the green/brown ones myself. Zappos offers free shipping, and you get them right away!!! If you get any equestrian-inspired boot, make it these.

Next thing, you need a good pair of cords. I got myself these on ebay, a pair of brown True Religions, perfect color for the fall. Now word to the wise, these are not stretch, so they run a bit smaller.

Lastly, also from ebay, is a pair of black lace tights. Lace is another one of the fall must-haves, ranging from tights to dresses. I thought a pair of these is way to ease into it without going in over my head.

Thanks for stopping by

Giving this whole blog thing a shot!

I've finally joined the blog world! This blog will not be restricted to fashion alone (though about 85% of it is haha) but the all the loves of this fashionaholic as well, and any interesting news I happen to come about.

To start off, Gossip Girl has a new fan. My fiancee. I got season one on DVD the other day, and he's hooked. At first he wanted nothing to do with it, but how he plans his whole night around watching it.
Speaking of Gossip Girl, took a walk past Bendels the other day, and they have a huge GG display in their window.

Next, now that bright eyeshadow is in, I decided to give the Urban Decay deluxe shadow box a whirl. I thought at first that the colors would be really loud and obnoxious, but in reality, they are really nice. I often get compliments when I wear them, especially the blue and purple ones! I definitely recommend.
